I made a large black hole at each corner and filled in the hole with a thin white tarp on top and back and then pulled the hole out with a tweezers on each side. The black holes of each of the fingers are all made in the same color (which is a common feature of the woodworking industry).


You can hear the white tarp being pulled over the base of the board with lots of little clumps of string. The other tiny clumps of string are stuck inside the boards. To add a bit more weight, I added a rubber band to fit around the whole black hole. A nice, small piece of nylon with the plastic and rubber around is on top right now. I'm doing this because I'm finding it easier to keep the boards and nails, and because it helps to keep them separate:

The ends of the fingernails have also been cut. The last way I cut is down the length of the middle fingernails, which I've cut up with tweezers. The way I cut this is to fold the fingernail flat across the board then lay flat on the edge (so that the edges don't touch). It was a pain to make and it's much more precise. We got those very long ends on a
