The most popular gel is my old homemade black nail foundation called the Kaleidoscope. I use this for a lot of my nails. If I could only get a few to cover the whole area and make it super clear, one would have the whole lot.
You could start by choosing the right colors. I prefer bright orange, but you could skip that one and instead opt for a slightly muted green. The light most of the time is either pure green. I don't use a lot of bright orange, but I do go for it for my very dark, medium light colors like pink or brown.
When choosing the right color of primer, it's an absolute no brainer because you'll have a ton of different colors. To avoid color picking, here's what to expect in case of "no" and "yes."
1. Do your best to make sure the color is bright yellow.
2. Do your best to pick the shade from the inside of the nail.
3. Do your best to choose a perfect setting from your palette.
4. If the look in this color is different from the rest of the nail, put in the color and add a bit more light to get it to match it's base color.
5. Put some light into the top corners of the corners.
6. Don't use nail polish.
