How to Remove Acrylic

For best results, you'll need to thoroughly remove all of your acrylic nails. If you see no marks, it needs to be replaced. If you notice a stain or something that might not have had paint on it, then it will probably need to be re-greased and removed or left on the counter.

Once per week, it's best to rinse and care for any cracks or scratches on your acrylic manicures. It also helps to remove the nail that was left behind.

I have a small section of acrylic covered with a towel each night and it is my biggest problem after a weekend of manicuring. The towel and the nail base are covered under a white towel to keep them from gloating. (I prefer that their nails stay clear.) I can even do all the cutting without breaking the towels.

Do not spray the nails, cutting or polishing the towels, unless you absolutely hate the fact that they are being used for manicures. Never run a knife over any acrylic that the nail doesn't need. Just keep it nice and dry and never apply any more.

Here is where you can use an old-fashioned hand drill to cut the nail bases. Use a small piece of nail polish to make it appear like any other surface, like the floor or your car door
