The flat liner covered the nail but it was too big for the nail to fit in the liner, so I placed the sheet-flat liner upside down. It worked, but the edge of the liner was too big to cut through a nail. To be honest, I think I tried everything I could imagine and the liner was too small to fit in. They put a nail under the liner and I went right for the long, narrow flat liner. I finally got past the pain and stuck with the 3 sizes I always try to get with my nails! A few days after I placed the glue, a friend who lives a few doors away informed me that the nail should have been made from the old paper liners I use as my foundation. So I tried to get some nail polishing tape on it while I got an even better idea. I would not be surprised if these nails were made from the old paper polish. I really like that the glue had a nice amount of "flex" underneath to soften the polish.
